Redi-Rock in the news following succes with Environment Agency flood defence.
The £400,000 scheme at Haydon Bridge is the first Environment Agency project in England to use Redi-Rock blocks. As well as reducing the flood risk to more properties, the new defences will offer a better standard of protection.

New product - POLYBED - The SUDS Solution
The Polybed system encompasses our understanding of SUDS by offering a more cost effective and sustainable solution to traditional drainage by utilising recycled polystyrene geosynthetic aggregate in place of natural natural quarried aggregates. The resultant benefits are an extremely lightweight system that can be rapidly installed without the need for specialist skills.

Redi-Rock to the Flood Agency's rescue! FEMA Projects in the US - The Environment Agency in the UK
Tthe U.S. government through FEMA has approved several flood control projects throughout the US that could potentially use Redi-Rock retaining walls.
Meanwhile in the UK, work is due to start shortly on the large flood defence wall for the Environment Agency in Newcastle.

U.S. Stormwater Case Study in the news
Storm Water Solutions Magazine recently published an article in their 2008 and 2009 source book called “The Great Walls of Kansas”. The article talks about how Redi-Rock was used to line the stream banks to prevent erosion along the resident’s properties and provide flood control through the city.
